Helsinki is the largest port city and capital of Finland, as well as the country’s economic and cultural center. Founded in 1550, it became the capital after Finland’s independence in 1917. The forest area accounts for a large proportion of the residential area, the environment is beautiful, and the population density is very low. Most of the buildings in the city are built with light-colored granite, and it is known as the “White City of the North”. Our journey will start from here, visiting the snow-white exterior walls and green roofs of the largest cathedral in Northern Europe, visiting the largest Orthodox church in Northern Europe, and experiencing the Nordic style at the seaside market.
• In the evening, you can take the Northern Lights train to Rovaniemi, the hometown of Santa Claus (2 people/comfortable soft sleeper compartment, including a bathroom with shower).
