From Ålesund, we travel inland through beautiful fjord landscapes and mountain terrain toward the heart of the Romsdal region. Along the way, we make scenic stops that allow you to take in the changing landscapes and enjoy some of the most impressive natural sights in Western Norway. One of the highlights is Trollveggen, Europe’s highest vertical rock face, rising dramatically above the valley floor. We then continue to the world-famous Trollstigen, one of Norway’s most iconic mountain roads, known for its sharp bends, steep mountain sides, and breathtaking views. At the top, you will have time to enjoy the spectacular viewpoint and visitor area. The journey also includes a stop at Gudbrandsjuvet, a narrow and dramatic gorge shaped by the rushing river over thousands of years. Before returning to Ålesund, we make another scenic stop, giving you one last chance to enjoy the grandeur of the Norwegian mountains.
